About Me
I am a landscape/nature/conservation photographer, writer, and book publisher. I devoted myself to a career as an oral historian for many decades (retired in 2021). I also ran a feminist press (HerBooks) in the 1980s and 1990s.
I synthesize photography with storytelling, writing, and book publishing. I believe photography, oral history, and writing offer us redemption, hope, and joy during a time of radical uncertainty.
